Dearest Grip Plyaz,

Dearest Grip Plyaz,

I've been following your music for sometime & I must say the documentary is definiately a good look.
Its always good to see where an artist comes from to what they've become.

Everyone has a story, albeit positive or negative, interesting or boring, fulfilled or still in progress. For Grip Plyaz, his story represents one able to transcend across multiple boundaries. The “underground” Hip-Hop scene loves him and holds an unfathomable amount of admiration for him. The skateboard scene sees buddy as one of their own and he doesn’t even skate.

Thanks to Chilly-O, the three part Purp, Wind & Fire documentary sheds light on one of Atlanta’s most promising upstarts. Weaved in between well placed performance scenes, 4th Ward’s finest explains why he is who he is and others eagerly explain why he’s so well respected in a city known for its musical history. Hopefully our track record is certified by now, so cosigning something lackluster doesn’t fit our billing. Click play and learn yourself something.

PS: 'Project Hoe' is my shit!!

Dearest Kanye,

Dearest Kanye,

"My presence is a present...kiss my ass".

I heard this song a while back, but I must say the visual makes me like it a little bit more.
What the hell was the point of Ross being on the joint...what'd he rap like 4 bars? [Im not complaining though, just saying.]
However, I really enjoyed you & Sean Carter's verse. Nicki's is straight too. I guess.
I'm not too big of a fan of hers so I usually block her out, but some magazine said her verse on this song is the best verse of 2010...::side eye::

I must say I'm loving the heels in this video, especially the black ones in the beginning. Sex-ay.
I think the video fits the song...you know the scary asses arent going to like it though.

Dearest Friends,

Dearest Friends,

We've been punked.
Yesterday, during the hiliarious tweef [twitter beef] between Chris Brown and Raz B a link was posted with the title "Suge Knight has been arrested for Tupac's murder". Immediately I clicked the link to see what was up & the below video popped up.

Now, the first time I watched it  my jaw dropped. I really believed it was true.
Then, I watched it the second time & noticed the May 2010 date, the 2 different newscasts & realized some genius punked us all. I couldn't believe it. I bet the jerk was sitting at home laughing his ass of at how the twitter world was going crazy over some video he cut & pasted together.

After all this, what have we learned children?
Not to believe everything we hear...unelss it is presented  by a reliable source.

Dearest TRIMM,

Dearest TRIMM,

"If not for me, girl, do it or the rent money...

...go head shawty, shake it for the rent money."

I swear I have to be your biggest fan & have been since forever.
So, you have no idea how excited I was when I ran across the "video" below.
Although this song is quite explicit...its a winner.

"I promise I wont use my hands unless I throw a stack or two..."

For all these  guys who visit gentlemen clubs, the ladies who are strippers or wish they were...you'll really love this joint. Promise.

Dearest Travis Porter,

Dearest Travis Porter,

I'm not really a fan but...

I really like this "Make it Rain" joint.
Everytime I hear it I immediately want to go to a club & shake my ass...while holding a pole.

Ever since yall have appeared on the music scene, Atlanta radios & clubs have embraced yall 100%.
I remember going to the club once & seeing everyone go crazy when that "All the Way Turnt Up" joint would come on. I could only imagine how wild they're getting once the DJ spins this.

Dearest Kevin Hart,

Dearest Kevin Hart,

You are SO DAMN FUNNY!!!!!

Last month my baby brother blessed me with a ticket to your 'Laugh At My Pain' tour & I CRIED the whole time. I swear you have to be my favorite comedian...next to Martin.
Now, all day I've been hearing about some chick's weave getting caught on fire & had no idea what the fuss was all about...not until just now when I saw your reaction. CLASSIC!

I had to watch this video hella times just so that I could catch everyone's reaction.
Homegirl's hair was on fire for 5 full seconds before anyone noticed.
I know she had to be embarrassed. How do you return to being sexy after that?
Especially after your reaction. My question to you is, how did you jump up so fast & manage not to spill a drop of damn Ciroc?

PS: Congratulations on your 'Seriously Funny' DVD which is currenly 3x platinum.

Dearest Bryan J.,

Dearest Bryan J.,

I had to immediately hop on this laptop & write this love note to THANK YOU [& J.Que] for yall's rendition of "Let it Snow". I have not been in the Christmas spirit until maybe 10 minutes ago when I clicked the posted youtube link.

I want this on my ipod immediately. You both were blessed with such soulful voices. I LOVE IT!

PS: Shout out to Greg [aka @3_Ghee] for the cameos of him in the fridge... LMAO!

Dearest Friends,

Dearest Friends,

A few days ago I received an email about featuring an independent artist on my blogspot & a light bulb went off above my head. How can this be a hip hop based blogspot without me showing independent artists, models, singers, bloggers & etc. love? So, every Wednesday I will be doing just that. Let's call it...Independent Wednesdays...for now.

To start this soon to be phenomenal trend, let me introduce you to our first featured independent artist,
==> TreDice <==

TreDice is not only an aspiring artist, but he's also an entrepreneur. He has his own urban clothing line that has been seen on my favorite America's Next Top Model, Bre, Teyana Taylor & many more. He's also a motivational speaker & Co-Founder of the youth empowerment program, I Am Multi LLC..

After reading an article on Kanye West in XXL magazine, TreDice came up with a HOT joint called, 'Just Went Pro' which he says is "...for those trying to make that transition to something greater".

"Haters throw rice, Broads throw cutty. Please no applause, just throw money."

PS: Shout out to Michael Culberson...the beat is JAMMIN'! & if you want to some TreDice some love, hit him up ==> twitter.com/TreDice & on facebook.com/TreDice-and-I-Got-Bars

Dearest Jamie Foxx,

Dearest Jamie Foxx,

Ever since your first CD dropped...

...my love for you as an artist has grown tremendously.
Intuition was jammin! I was highly impressed.
Its not often that an actor switches over to the musical world & is actually successful with it.

So, in saying that, it was nice seeing you Ellen.
I really like this "For Your Type" song...very nice.
I can't wait until your next album drops...I will be grabbing a copy.

Dearest Fabolous,

Dearest Fabolous,

"...& you still killin them hoes."

I just peeped the video to 'You Be Killing Em' on WSHH.
The first time I watched it I was so distracted by Ms. Amber Rose, that I had to watch it again...& again.

Now, as a hardcore Fabolous fan its essential that I be 100% honest.
I like the song, but I'm not in love with it.
As one of my top 3 favorite rappers, I am surprised because I usually love everything you put out.

Anywho, I'm sure this isnt really up for discussing...but what's up with you and A. Rose?
I mean...I'm not feeling it & now that yall gyrating & shit in the video...all that's running through my mind  is "that's Kanye's leftovers...". EwwWww..

But I guess it is what it is so "Do You" ::in my Kevin Hart voice::

Dearest Young Dro,

Dearest Young Dro,

I have been rocking with you since 2006.

The mixtape you did with DJ Drama: Day One was my shit!
I swear I played that mixtape out!! Song for song the EP was jamming.
That CD made me a Dro fan for life.
I remember immediately copping your debut album, Best Thang Smoking because of how much I loved your flow & lyricism on Day One. To this day, I consider Best Thang Smoking one of my favorite hip hop albums.

Since then I have been patiently waiting on another Young Dro album.
Last year you did drop a video for "I Don't Know Yall"...[ I loved the video by the way ]  from the RIP: (I Killed that Shit) mixtape. That shit went hard too bytheway.

A few days ago I ran across the "Freeze Me" video ft. Gucci & TIP & no surprise, I l.o.v.e. it.

...Minus Gucci's verse...just not a fan of homeboy's.
Anyways, I was googling & ran across an unreleased video for a song that I use to play the hell out of.
Rashad Morgan's "Tell Em What They Wanna Hear" was in constant rotation on my iPod. I just don't understand why it didn't any love as it should have. Especially here in Atlanta.

"Watermelon car, watermelon guts. Damn shawty fine with a watermelon butt."
