Dearest Bad Girls,

Dearest Bad Girls,

...Portia & Natalie.

I usually don't write love notes to reality tv castmembers,
but this had to be addressed & replayed.
I have been a fan of the Bad Girls Club since the first season & I have yet to see a fight like this...on ANY reality show.

Since season 4 of BGC aired, Natalie, you have been getting on my last nerves. When Kendra didn't knock your ass out, I knew it'd only be a matter of time before someone pounded your face in & I am oh so grateful it was Portia.

Even though I do not condone violence, I HATE disrespect & Natalie, you deserved to get drug. Period. Since the reel started rolling you have been going on & on about superficial shit.
LMAO. Karma is a beeeyyyoootttccchhhh.

Dearest Brittany Murphy,

Dearest Brittany Murphy,

Rest In Peace Brittany Murphy
Nov. 1977 - Dec. 2009

"2day the world lost a little piece of sunshine.
My deepest condolences go out 2 Brittany's family, her husband, &
her amazing mother Sharon.
See you on the other side kid."
-Ashton Kutcher [via Twitter]

My mouth dropped when I got home from a long day at work,
clicked on twitter & found out about your untimely death.
I am such a huge fan of your work.
One of my favorite movies, Clueless. "Rollin w/ the homies..."

PS: I found this site which has a lot of cool photos you took.

Dearest Atlanta,

Dearest Atlanta,

...AkA "Home of the Haters"...

...Given to you by my favorite radio personality, [V-103s] Ryan Cameron.
I was listening to the radio today & what Ryan was saying is EXACTLY how Ive felt my whole seven plus years living in/all around the city of Atlanta.

Ryan explained this nickname by starting out with how Jermaine Dupri & Johnta Austin, both who reside here in the city of Atlanta, did some research and found out [Mariah Carey's] "We Belong Together" is the #1 single, in the last DECADE, with more radio plays than any other song.
[Side Note: JD & Johnta both contributed to the writing of the song]
I think JD & em were at an event & made the announcement.
Ryan said all you heard was "crickets". No one applauded, cheered, nothing.
That's a damn shame, but I'm not surprised.

I attend a lot of "underground" events in the city of Atlanta & it's ridiculous how people don't even CLAP for an individual b/c of the... hatred.
Like Ryan said, there's no extra charge on the ticket for applauding, especially if YOU aren't doing ANYTHING & these individuals are.
Support them. Damn. All you have to do is clap, maybe even yell if you feeling it.

My Motto: "You have to give love in order to get love"
& if you don't support someone, who the hell is going to support you?

That is all.

PS: Since Ive written this love note someone tweeted Gucci's album sales, [80something thousand] & followed with "My city [ATL] will blow you up, but won't support you...".
Its so obvious, Atlanta.

December 11, 2009

Dearest Lil Duval *updated*,

Dearest Lil Duval,

I haven't been in the Christmas spirit until.....

I saw your HILIARIOUS rendition of "This Christmas".
I didn't know what to expect, but soon as the camera moved from the fireplace to you, I started cracking up.
The Tropicana juice, for one, is HILIARIOUS & that sweater....smh...
Who the hell did you borrow that from? Its hideous.

"Shake a Hand. Shake a Hand Now.." HaHaHa!

PS: I loved the R. Kelly Interview you did a while back for your Nigga Please series.

PPS: I found out who let you borrow that sweater...ROFLMAO.

December 10, 2009

Dearest Muffy,

Dearest Muffy,

A visual to one of my FAVORITE underground songs.
Ever since I have been introduced to ATL's underground music scene,
which has been some YEARS now, I have been a fan of yours.
I love your style, individuality & creativeness.
I tried a while back to introduce you to these bitches, but this time, I think you may have caught they're attention.

"SWEET" is one of the DOPEST songs to me.
[Makes me feel like THEE shit ;)]
The Beat [shout out to BATTERY 5! <== Get Familiar Please.],
the Lyrics...I just LOVE it. There has been many replays of this joint in my ride & now the world gets more of a reason to love it as much as I do.

"...Oh My Kitty, Keep her pretty, so he always visits her...
Scratch his back, he like that, reach into his duffle bag
hand his kitty kat a stack...
There he goes I'm in love with his money
& he knows so he gives me all his honey...."

A few minutes before I wrote this love note, I stopped by Dimewars & saw something that
kiinnndddaaa irritated me. It was the caption under your video which read,
"Oh Look! A NICKI MINAJ CLONE from ATL!!" & the reason it irritated me...? Because I'm not a fan of Ms. Minaj & these what these hoes fail to realize is that...YOU BEEN HERE!
Don't want to get too emotional, so I'm going to end here.

PS: Ladies [& ALL Gucci Fans], Go ahead & check out Muffy's "Get Em Girls".

I REALLY like this song. Go On Girl!

Become a fan: &

Happy Birthday to Me

& who better than to sing the BDay song to me, than Mrs. B herself...

The Lord has blessed me to see 27 years & I am so thankful.
Life is shorter than you think.
Enjoy it to the fullest. With no regrets.
Live. Laugh. Love.

-Andrina =)

PS: Even though I'm only 27, I feel like Garfield...LoL.

Dearest Pleasure P,

Dearest Pleasure P,

...this is a "I Love Hip Hop, but sometimes..." moment.

Usually, I don't write love notes based on a celebritie's business &/or their personal  issues, but since I have been a HUGE fan of yours since I first heard your voice, to hear this kind rumor is dishearting.
I read something about it a few days ago...& ignored it.
But, today, I ran across this video & it kinda hurts my heart.
If you don't ever tell your better believe there's someone out there who will.

Buuutttt, A Child Molester? WoooOoooW.
This reminds me of when I heard about that R. Kelly situation...
I couldn't listen to his music for a lllooonnnggg time b/c I kept thinking each song was dedicated to the little girl[s].
I don't know what kind of advice one can give to another in a situation like this, other than, "Keep ya head up"....I guess.

Despite all this, I had to revisit one of my favorite songs w/ you:
Age Ain't Nothing But A Number when you were w/ Pretty Ricky.
[I just love your voice in this song].

PS: Congratulations on your not 1, not 2, but 3 Grammy nominations. That shit is MAJOR!

November 30, 2009

Dearest Fantasia,

Dearest Fantasia,

Go On Girl!

You SANG your ass off last night at the Soul Train Music Awards.
I always seem to forget how strong & powerful a voice you have.

I remember after you first won American Idol my homegirl & I were in Lenox Square Mall [ATL] & we heard you would be making an appearance in Macy's.
We figured no one would be there so we made our way towards the back of the department store.
We were wrong. There were SO MANY PEOPLE!
I remember when you came out & everyone went CRAZY!!!
You sung one song, tried to sign autographs & take pics, but the officials were rushing you off stage.'

I have to say, youre 1st CD...classic. Speaking of which...One of my favs., "Free Yourself".

PS: More Music. Please.

Dearest Bobbe J Thompson,

Dearest Bobbe J Thompson,

I was browsing the web and came across a video that is said to be you fighting another young man after school.
Although I don't condone violence, that fight wasn't too bad.
Couple good blows. Nice body slam in the beginning.
I like how the spectators kept saying "Oh Shit" & "Go Bobbe".

PS: Where were the officials? & who the hell was that "shhh"ing everyone?

Dearest Mike Epps,

Dearest  Mike Epps,

OMG! You crack me up!

I just finished watching this snippet from your stand up comedy,
Under Rated, Never faded & X-Rated, & I was cracking up the whole 5 minutes.
From making fun of Judge Mathis & the guy from that Everst College commerical to your grandma saying she gave "yo daddy head. yo daddy head. yo daddy head." ROFLMAO!

After watching this, I will be copping the!

November 24, 2009

Dearest Jennifer Lopez,

Dearest Jennifer Lopez,

...or should I say Jenny from the Block?

First let me say, I love you as both an artist and an actor.
[My  fav movies, Enough & Maid in Manhattan.]
I've never thought you had strong vocals, but you can at least hold a note & dance your ass off, which many of this "frail tail" [shout out to Jazzy Pha for that term] females can't seem to do nowadays.

Since I was in 8th grade, I have sung/danced along to many JLo videos & I've liked many, but "Louboutins" is my SHIT! I loved it the first time I heard it & I was so excited when I walked in from work, clicked on the TV & caught the beginning of your AMA performance.

I must say, you sounded pretty good during this live performance.
Now, I saw the "fall", but I seriously didn't pay it any mind when it happened.
I seriously thought it was apart of the routine.
As a former dancer, I applaud you, homie, b/c you recovered SO smoothly.
After you hand the dancer the mike, you jump & land on your ass...on BEAT! LoL....
Then you PoP back up, clap & proceed with the freestyle routine, whhhiiiccchhh wereallydidntneed.
Anywho, I can't wait to see what the rest of your new project will sound like.
[Also, I have to Shout out to the Dream & Tricky Stewart. These two are taking over music....& I LOVE IT!]

Now, for a classic JLo joint, "My Love Don't Cost a Thing".

PS: After taking a trip down memory lane & revisiting your old videos,
I think you, Beyonce & Janet should have a dance off ;)

November 19, 2009

Dearest Robin Thicke,

Dearest Robin Thicke,

I LoveLoveLoveLoveLove You!

My ears have felt this way ever since the album, I consider to be a classic, The Evolution of Robin Thicke dropped over 3 years ago.
I brought that CD twice because I played the 1st one out so much.
& now, I can not wait until December 15th for your 3rd album, Sex Therapy... Speaking of which...

Sing it!!
This song is so damn sexy.
Makes me want to grab my boyfriend right now... & love him. ;)
I CAN NOT wait until the CD drops, but this will definitely due until then.

Now, its time for a trip down memory lane..."Shooter".

You can't do anything but nod along to this joint.
PS: World, this is around the time I LOVED Wayne. [You know, before the abduction.]

November 18, 2009

Dearest Fabolous

Dearest Fabolous,

I would love to take this moment to express my love for you as an artist, but I've already done that in a previous "Dearest Fabolous" love note & since I know you're a busy man, I've hooked you up w/ your birthday horoscope. Scorpio, right?

"You are feeling good--everything in your life just seems to fall into place.
You can demonstrate great understanding to the needs of others and are in a good position to
teach, guide or just enjoy the special personalities of the people around you.
The young people in your environment seek you out this evening.
You encourage psychological well-being."
Hope it makes some sense.
Anywho, during my throwback video search, I came across a new video which dropped 2 days ago. Where was my ass?
Money Goes, Honey Stays [ft. Jay-Z]

"What should you do?! How about ride."

I hope your day is filled with laughter, love & many shots of patron
[or whatever your choose to partake in]

November 13, 2009

Dearest Rihanna *updated*,

Dearest Rihanna *updated*,

I have been trying to figure out the concept of this song...

& now that I've seen the video, I'm still kinda confused.
Despite that fact, I absolutely LOVE this song.

"...& you can see my hearrrtttttt beating.
You can see it through my chest..."

Please allow me to take a second & shout out your Stylist[s]/MUA[s].
Ever since "Umbrella" dropped, I have loved your style & make-up.
Whether hoes want to admit it or not,
many of them have been "jocking your fresh".
From your tatts to your hair, clothes, make up...
I'll be the 1st to say it, you are a Bad MammaJamma.

Speaking of "Umbrella", how about we take a trip down memory lane?
[Shout out to The Dream, one of my favorite song writers "Dearest Dream" coming soon.]

"When the sun shines, we'll shine together.
Told you I'll be here forever.
Said I'll always be your friend.
Took an oath, Ima stick it out till the end...
You can stand under my umbrella".

PS: I had to update this Love Note b/c I ran into the Rated R Launch Party & I had to post it b/c you perform one of my favorite joints off the album [which, even though it has leaked, I still havent listened to], "Hard" ft. Jeezy. [FF to 19:15]

"...aint like me that bitch to phony..."

November 12, 2009

Dearest Strange Lady,

Dearest Strange Lady,

Since you can obviously express your feelings...

...allow me to now express mine about you & you're nasty ass actions.

First, let me start off by saying,
" are a fu*king pussy. I hope someone beats the fu*king crap out of you"!
When I saw this clip on TMZ, I immediately wanted to thump you in the damn forehead.
You should be SO embarrassed... to be broadcasted on national television as an evil heartless bi*ch.

I'm just curious, how do you yell obscenities like that to a man you have never met before.. out in public, no less!?! Just the total disregard of respecting another human being makes me a little upset. I just believe that you should be able to state your opinions/feelings without being disrespectful/hateful/nasty towards them.

Who the hell are you to cast a stone at anyone?
I'm sure you're parents didn't raise you like that.

November 11, 2009

Dearest Omarion,

Dearest Omarion,

"I be so L.A., got my Chucks & my Locs on...

...I get it in..."

SoOo, let me start off by saying someone's ass got SERVED!
You killed the choreography in this video.
You and the other 4 dudes need to just go ahead & take your asses to MTVs America's Best Dance Crew.

I like this joint. It will be uploaded to the ipod as soon as I get a link.
I almost didn't listen to this song b/c of one reason. I'm not a Gucci fan.
But, from what I read, Wayne killed another version.
[I'm not too much of a fan of his either...but whatev...].

& Now, in classic Love Note fashion, I have to toss in a throwback.
One of my ALL time favorite Omarion joints, "O". Now that I think back, I remember teaching myself this choreography.

November 09, 2009

Dearest Katt Williams,

Dearest Katt Williams,

You're so damn funny!

The smile...CLASSIC.
This is one of those "Hip Hop I Love You, but sometimes..." moments.

Atlanta, Georgia (CNN) -- Comedian Katt Williams was arrested on burglary and criminal trespass charges in a west Georgia community Sunday night, according to a court official.

& Now... A Classic Katt Moment.

"...I don't know the recipe, I'm just saying..."

PS: If you haven't read it, check out my first "Dearest Katt Williams".

November 05, 2009

Dearest ...GUCCI!,

Dearest ...GUCCI!

You've gone from being "So Icey" to...

...being EVERYdamnWHERE!
I mean...your throat doesn't hurt?
Everytime I turn the radio on, you're on someone's joint.
But I aint mad at cha, I never knock a man's hustle.
[To make matters worst] I'm not a fan & unfortunately for me, there doesn't seem to be too many more who concur.

&& Now, you have a song with one of my FAVORITE R&B males, USHER!
[*blank stare*] REALLY!?!
GUCCI! & U.S.H.E.R.R.A.Y.M.O.N.D.? Hmmm...I don't know about this.
Don't get mad, but I think he makes the song.
Your verses/lyrics are "eh", but the chorus...[nodding my head up & down]...
"I fuQz w/ it".
But then again, Ush can sing anything & make the sound good.

PS: Spppeeeaakkkiiinnnggg of "So Icey"...

"Uh, Young Gucci Mane, don't kiss me baby, you can kiss the chains..."
This joint reminds me of one of my favorite ATL clubs...
Vegas Nites.

November 03, 2009

Dearest Young Dro,

Dearest Young Dro,

"I dont know yall..."

"...I don't fuQ w/ yall. Cuz Ima Big Dog.".

As a lover of your flows since I heard you on DJ Drama's hosted Gangsta Grillz mixtape, Day One [That CD got A LOT of play in my ride.], I must say that I am so excited about the new visual.
The video is dope, Homie.

I like this joint off your new mixtape, R.I.P. [I killed that shit],

["I'm Fresh" is my SHIT!]
PS: Shout Out to the Best Thang Smokin'. [One of my favorite Hip Hop albums EVER].

November 02, 2009

Dearest Lauryn Hill,

Dearest Lauryn Hill,

"...You know I only say it cause I'm truly genuine..."

When will you be bring your ass back to music?
When will I be able to play an album from the beginning to end singing & rapping along?
It has been OVER 10 years since the world was blessed with one of the BEST albums hip hop has even sung along to. I can't believe it.
I remember I spent the summer in Mississippi that year & no other CD even touched the inside of my discman. Miseducation of Lauryn Hill [SMH] CLASSIC!!

I was blog browsing & saw the line "...dont be a hard rock when you really are a gem" & realized how much I miss you.
From the moment your voice is heard on MEOLH, you are spitting the truth.
Much of which, doesnt occur anymore.

In tribute, I found a classic "Final Hour" performance.

Just in case its been a minute since you listened to it...

Dearest Music Lovers,

Dearest Music Lovers,

Its #MusicMonday & I have that NEW SHIT for you!

Everyone is fiending for New Music. New Artists. A New Hip Hop.
So, allow me to [re]introduce you to " of the most talented solo MCs around", [].

"TRIMM meets SMKA is the second project in the “(dope artist) meets SMKA” series, and follows the successful release of Mr. Falyon meets SMKA, in June 2009. The project showcases TRIMM, who has been making waves in the music industry for a couple years and is arguably one of the best lyricists in Atlanta. TRIMM meets SMKA includes 9 tracks, two of which are produced by Battery 5, while the other 7 are produced by SMKA. There is additional production work from Justin Padron on “Real Shit.” TRIMM meets SMKA also includes features from Gripplyaz, A.leon Craft, Elz, J.Beans and Crook Brown." -[SMKA]

If you love hip hop like myself & tired of all the mundane music out currently, click the above album cover & experience what TRIMM likes to call, "Beautiful Music", by downloading TRIMM meets SMKA for F.R.E.E.
[The whole album is dope, but may I suggest a few of my fav. tracks? "Walk on By", "Yea Right", "Caddys", "Real Shit", "Instant Replay" & "Zone Wit It"]

Don't forget to check out TRIMM's first EP,
Evolution of the Machine & off TRIMM meets SMKA, the "Caddys" video.

October 29, 2009

Dearest Teyana Taylor,

Dearest Teyana Taylor,

Let me start off by saying, Im Jealous...

I WISH I could love my thick/curly hair the way you love yours, but I can't. Fortunately, hair isn't what this love note is about.
It's about how GREAT I think you are.
The 1st time I was introduced to you was during MTV's
"My Super Sweet 16" episode.
I just loved everything about you.
From the hair, to the make up, to the outfits, to the dance routines.
For example this choreography to "Drop it Low". I Love It!
I want to learn this right now!

& theres more reasons why I think you're the bomb dot com...
After reading your interview w/ my girl, Egypt, there was something I read to be particularly interesting...
Such as, you're 18 yrs old & you're still a virgin.

"The one thing people can never say is that I’m a hoe.
I have a purity ring.
The only time you get in trouble is if you attempt to do something.
If your laying up on a boy then something is going to happen.
So I just keep my legs closed until I am ready for that.
I can’t have a boyfriend because the only thing they want to do is have sex.
I don’t want no fingers up there, no penis, nothing!!! Uh uh..."

Damn, how I wish other young ladies felt the same way.
It hurts my heart knowing that they don't care about being called a hoe.

Anywho, keep doing your thing, babygirl.

PS: Shout out to your baby daddy, Shia LeBouf ;).

October 27, 2009

Dearest Blogspot,

Dearest Blogspot,

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Love Notes to Hip Hop!!!
I can't believe it's been 1 year since I came up w/ this idea & posted my first love note appropiately titled, "Dearest Swagger".

I'm surprised my A.D.D. ass has actually kept up w/ it every month.
&& I'm even more surprised that many of you check em out & actually love many of em.

In honor of the one year anniversary here are a few of your favorite Love Notes:
"Dearest Nicki Minaj"
"Dearest Worst Father on Earth"
"Dearest Gorilla Zoe"
"Dearest Aspiring Vixens"
"Dearest LiL Kim"
"Dearest Ciara"

[Clap for Me]

Dearest Chris Brown,

Dearest Chris Brown,

I'm swear I'm coming... your concert in December.
When you bring your ass to ATL, I will be in attendance.
Ever since "Run It" I have been an unconditional Chris Brown fan,
& now that I see this "I Can Transform Ya" video,
I'm even more excited to see you in person.

I'm so happy this video wasn't wack! I love it! Go on Boy!

PS: Bonus Track: "Drop It Low" -Esther Dean ft. Chris Brown

Dearest Mike Epps,

Dearest Mike Epps,

Really? This is your next endeavor?

...Becoming a Rapper?
I think you're so comical, but this just confuses me.
I don't know if I should laugh or rap a long.
But, maybe I'm suppose to do both.
The new single, "Aint Chu You" is the first single from your album,
Funny Bidness...

...which dropped today. [Click the link to hear the album in its entirety.]
I must say, I do like Young Dro's verse.
"...Got that bubblegum mint, got they breathe game together..."

October 24, 2009

Dearest Drake,

Dearest Drake,

I remember back in May, I wrote you a love note expressing how excited I was that you were in the industry. Like a breath of fresh air.
But now, not so much.
You're everywhere & its kinda getting annoying.
I like my artists in increments.
I can't stomach too much at once, then it all starts to sound mundane.
But I can't deserve your blessings.

Shout out to Lloyd for blessing one of my favorite tracks on
So Far Gone. [available for free on your right]

Dearest LiL Boosie,

Dearest LiL Boosie,

Damn. Tell us how you really feel...

I laughed when I came across this video.
You Mad?

"I'm the only one gotta do that time & niggas be talking bout 'keep ya head up'.
Nigga fuQ you! Nigga, Don't be worrying bout my head up.
Suck my dick. Bitch I'm the one that gotta go through this time.
Aint none of yall gonna be in that bitch.
Yall gonna be at home, still wiping yall ass with Charmin..."

ROFLMAO!!! & unfortunately during your vacation,
I will be one of those "...still wiping my ass with Charmain". HA!

This reminded me of the first part of this Dave Chappelle stand up comedy.
I guess you can relate, huh?

"...You know what you gotta do?
You gotta keep your chin up.
Word? That's what I was doing wrong?
My chin was too low?
'Shut the FuQ up...!"

October 22, 2009

Dearest Mariah Carey

Dearest Mariah Carey,

I never thought about it, but now that I write this love note...

I can honestly say, that without a doubt,
you are my FAVORITE female artist...EVER!
[even though I do love Beyonce, Mary J. Blige, Whitney Houston, etc]
It was you who made me fall in love with music.
I remember my very first cassette was "Emotions"

I absolutely LOVED that song.
I would play it LOUD just so it could feel like I was hitting those high notes.
[Sidenote* I also remember asking my mom what "emotions" meant. She told me to "go look it up"].
But from that moment 'til right now,
I have been a faithful/unconditional Mariah Carey fan.
If anyone has said anything bad about you, I believe its ass whooping time b/c I have always believed in your unique gift & supported your talent.

After your debut album, Mariah Carey, majority of your CDs has had a song &/or songs that I consider tracks to the soundtrack to my life,
But my favorite albums would have to be:
==> Daydream: [favs include: "Fantasy", "one Sweet Day" & "Always be my Baby"]
==> Butterfly [favs include: "Honey", "Butterfly", "My All", "Breakdown" & "Babydoll"]
==> Rainbow [favs include: "Heartbreaker" [original/remix] & "Crybaby"]
==> The Emancipation of MiMi [favs include: the WHOLE damn ALBUM! CLASSIC!]
==> E=MC2 [favs include: "Touch my Body" & "I'll be loving you long time"]
==> Memoirs of a Imperfect Angel [favs include: "Betcha Dont Know", "Obsessed", "H.A.T.E.U.", "Ribbon", "Inseparable", "Standing O" , "Its a Wrap" & "Angels Cry"]

This is one of my favorites off your new album, which I LOVE!
I wish these losers would stop sleeping & got get the album...

October 17, 2009

Dearest Grip Plyaz,

Dearest Grip Plyaz,

…More Hood than Hipster [Bitch]…

I'm sure the lames don't know, so please allow me to introduce you as one of my favorite underground ATL artists. Ever since I was introduced to the underground scene, I have been a fan of your music/stage presence/overall persona. One of my favorite joints would have to be "Project Hoe" from a few years ago. Oh! & I can't forget one of the FAVORITE summer anthems, "CADDYS". [Shout out to SMKA].

I absolutely love this "FucK that Hipster Shit". Just the beat & the way you riding go so hard.  [plus, any song that suggests giving every random person the finger, is a hit in my book. ].

“…I ain’t no Hipster, bitch. Fuck that hipster, shit…”
Motion Family did they thing.
I LOVE this video of the Club Crucial performance.
Also, I have to shout out @KEIsOpenDoors. =)
