Dearest Teyana Taylor,

Dearest Teyana Taylor,

Let me start off by saying, Im Jealous...

I WISH I could love my thick/curly hair the way you love yours, but I can't. Fortunately, hair isn't what this love note is about.
It's about how GREAT I think you are.
The 1st time I was introduced to you was during MTV's
"My Super Sweet 16" episode.
I just loved everything about you.
From the hair, to the make up, to the outfits, to the dance routines.
For example this choreography to "Drop it Low". I Love It!
I want to learn this right now!

& theres more reasons why I think you're the bomb dot com...
After reading your interview w/ my girl, Egypt, there was something I read to be particularly interesting...
Such as, you're 18 yrs old & you're still a virgin.

"The one thing people can never say is that I’m a hoe.
I have a purity ring.
The only time you get in trouble is if you attempt to do something.
If your laying up on a boy then something is going to happen.
So I just keep my legs closed until I am ready for that.
I can’t have a boyfriend because the only thing they want to do is have sex.
I don’t want no fingers up there, no penis, nothing!!! Uh uh..."

Damn, how I wish other young ladies felt the same way.
It hurts my heart knowing that they don't care about being called a hoe.

Anywho, keep doing your thing, babygirl.

PS: Shout out to your baby daddy, Shia LeBouf ;).

Dearest Blogspot,

Dearest Blogspot,

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

...to Love Notes to Hip Hop!!!
I can't believe it's been 1 year since I came up w/ this idea & posted my first love note appropiately titled, "Dearest Swagger".

I'm surprised my A.D.D. ass has actually kept up w/ it every month.
&& I'm even more surprised that many of you check em out & actually love many of em.

In honor of the one year anniversary here are a few of your favorite Love Notes:
"Dearest Nicki Minaj"
"Dearest Worst Father on Earth"
"Dearest Gorilla Zoe"
"Dearest Aspiring Vixens"
"Dearest LiL Kim"
"Dearest Ciara"

[Clap for Me]

Dearest Chris Brown,

Dearest Chris Brown,

I'm swear I'm coming...

...to your concert in December.
When you bring your ass to ATL, I will be in attendance.
Ever since "Run It" I have been an unconditional Chris Brown fan,
& now that I see this "I Can Transform Ya" video,
I'm even more excited to see you in person.

I'm so happy this video wasn't wack! I love it! Go on Boy!

PS: Bonus Track: "Drop It Low" -Esther Dean ft. Chris Brown

Dearest Mike Epps,

Dearest Mike Epps,

Really? This is your next endeavor?

...Becoming a Rapper?
I think you're so comical, but this just confuses me.
I don't know if I should laugh or rap a long.
But, maybe I'm suppose to do both.
The new single, "Aint Chu You" is the first single from your album,
Funny Bidness...

...which dropped today. [Click the link to hear the album in its entirety.]
I must say, I do like Young Dro's verse.
"...Got that bubblegum mint, got they breathe game together..."

Dearest Drake,

Dearest Drake,

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

I remember back in May, I wrote you a love note expressing how excited I was that you were in the industry. Like a breath of fresh air.
But now, not so much.
You're everywhere & its kinda getting annoying.
I like my artists in increments.
I can't stomach too much at once, then it all starts to sound mundane.
But I can't front...you deserve your blessings.

Shout out to Lloyd for blessing one of my favorite tracks on
So Far Gone. [available for free on your right]

Dearest LiL Boosie,

Dearest LiL Boosie,

Damn. Tell us how you really feel...

I laughed when I came across this video.
You Mad?

"I'm the only one gotta do that time & niggas be talking bout 'keep ya head up'.
Nigga fuQ you! Nigga, Don't be worrying bout my head up.
Suck my dick. Bitch I'm the one that gotta go through this time.
Aint none of yall gonna be in that bitch.
Yall gonna be at home, still wiping yall ass with Charmin..."

ROFLMAO!!! & unfortunately during your vacation,
I will be one of those "...still wiping my ass with Charmain". HA!

This reminded me of the first part of this Dave Chappelle stand up comedy.
I guess you can relate, huh?

"...You know what you gotta do?
You gotta keep your chin up.
Word? That's what I was doing wrong?
My chin was too low?
'Shut the FuQ up...!"

Dearest Mariah Carey

Dearest Mariah Carey,

I never thought about it, but now that I write this love note...

I can honestly say, that without a doubt,
you are my FAVORITE female artist...EVER!
[even though I do love Beyonce, Mary J. Blige, Whitney Houston, etc]
It was you who made me fall in love with music.
I remember my very first cassette was "Emotions"

I absolutely LOVED that song.
I would play it LOUD just so it could feel like I was hitting those high notes.
[Sidenote* I also remember asking my mom what "emotions" meant. She told me to "go look it up"].
But from that moment 'til right now,
I have been a faithful/unconditional Mariah Carey fan.
If anyone has said anything bad about you, I believe its ass whooping time b/c I have always believed in your unique gift & supported your talent.

After your debut album, Mariah Carey, majority of your CDs has had a song &/or songs that I consider tracks to the soundtrack to my life,
But my favorite albums would have to be:
==> Daydream: [favs include: "Fantasy", "one Sweet Day" & "Always be my Baby"]
==> Butterfly [favs include: "Honey", "Butterfly", "My All", "Breakdown" & "Babydoll"]
==> Rainbow [favs include: "Heartbreaker" [original/remix] & "Crybaby"]
==> The Emancipation of MiMi [favs include: the WHOLE damn ALBUM! CLASSIC!]
==> E=MC2 [favs include: "Touch my Body" & "I'll be loving you long time"]
==> Memoirs of a Imperfect Angel [favs include: "Betcha Dont Know", "Obsessed", "H.A.T.E.U.", "Ribbon", "Inseparable", "Standing O" , "Its a Wrap" & "Angels Cry"]

This is one of my favorites off your new album, which I LOVE!
I wish these losers would stop sleeping & got get the album...

Dearest Grip Plyaz,

Dearest Grip Plyaz,

…More Hood than Hipster [Bitch]…

My Nigga, GGGRRRIIIPPPPPPP!!!!

I'm sure the lames don't know, so please allow me to introduce you as one of my favorite underground ATL artists. Ever since I was introduced to the underground scene, I have been a fan of your music/stage presence/overall persona. One of my favorite joints would have to be "Project Hoe" from a few years ago. Oh! & I can't forget one of the FAVORITE summer anthems, "CADDYS". [Shout out to SMKA].

I absolutely love this "FucK that Hipster Shit". Just the beat & the way you riding it...it go so hard.  [plus, any song that suggests giving every random person the finger, is a hit in my book. ].

“…I ain’t no Hipster, bitch. Fuck that hipster, shit…”

Motion Family did they thing.
I LOVE this video of the Club Crucial performance.
Also, I have to shout out @KEIsOpenDoors. =)

Dearest Usher Raymond,

Dearest Usher Raymond,

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY

My apologies on the late blessings.
Can you believe Comcast had the audacity to cut off my internet while I was typing this love note?! [Bastards ;)]

I am a HUGE U.S.H.E.R.R.A.Y.M.O.N.D. FAN!!!
Always have been. Always will be.
I loved you the 1st time I heard "Make Me Wanna".
[Time Out: I NEVER knew you had an album before My Way which was co-executive produced by, then, Puffy! & the album has only sold 500,000 TO DATE! HAHAHA.]
I remember my homie invited me to accompany him to one of your concerts a few years ago. I remember two distinct things about that concert...

1. I wasted a good scream for one of your dancers
thinking it was you at the opening of the concert.
2. The voice of the guy behind me SCREAMING your name
at the top of his lungs.

Over the years, I have fallen in love w/ so many of your songs & after trying to pick a favorite, I decided to list a few of the world's favorites.

"You Make Me Wanna"
"Nice & Slow"
"My Way"
"Bedtime"
"You Remind Me"
"You Got it Bad"
"You don't have to Call"
"Yeah"
"Burn"
"My Boo"
"Love in this Club"
"Moving Mountains"
"Trading Places"
"Papers"

& Let's not forget all the features, album favorites or soundtrack joints.
But one that I consider a CLASSIC would have to be 'Can You Help Me'.

Thank you, Usher & I'm SO happy to hear more music from you.

Dearest Pole Dancers,

Dearest Pole Dancers,

I must say, I am HIGHLY impressed.

But, I must admit, I thought Stripper & Pole Dancer went hand in hand until I did my research. SoOo, according to Wikipedia,
"Pole Dance is a form of art.
[It Is a]recognized form of exercise and can be used as both an aerobic and anaerobic workout.
Recognized schools and qualifications are being developed as pole dancing increases in popularity, with the overall sex appeal toned down"
.

In saying that, I give you The 2009 Pole Dance Championships. Enjoy!

:Applauding:

My ass couldn't even climb that rope/do a pull up/or anything in PE class growing up. I blame it all on having 'weak arms'.
I give it up to you hoes ladies, b/c I couldn't do ANY of them moves. Pay attention. My favorite move is at 1:19. SMH. Ridiculous.

Dearest LiL Mama,

Dearest LiL Mama,

This footage just makes the whole situation a whole lot funnier to me!

My Point of View:
From the time the video starts, it looks as though you grabbed Beyonce's hand so that she could follow your ass onto the stage... But [pause] she didn't.
Your hand slid through hers & it looks as if she tried to stop your swift ass by reaching to grab you w/ her left hand, but you were so zoned out & excited about being a New Yorker, you didn't realize Bey left you to embarass only yourself. HAHA!
Beyonce's look.................................... PRICELESS!

LMAOLMAOLMAOLMAOLMAOLMAOLMAOLMAOLMAOLMAO...
this is just so funny to me. I HAD to post it.

Dearest Marge Simpson,

Dearest Marge Simpson,

"This is the closest you'll ever get to finding out if the carpet really does match the blue drapes"...

said TMZ. HA!
My mouth dropped when I saw the cover of the November issue of Playboy.
You are one of my favorite "TV Mom's" [Besides Louise from Family Guy, of course] I am kinda excited about this & I'm not too sure why. ;)

& now I give you a classic "Marge Moment".

PS: I can't believe it's been 30 yrs since you "popped out" Bart.
[Who's still 10 by the way.] You look great!
Also, did Homer tell you about the night we kicked it at Moe's? *wink*

Dearest President Obama,

Dearest President Obama,

Congratulations one recieving The Nobel Peace Prize.

For your "...extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples,”
the Norwegian Nobel Committee said.

"Only very rarely has a person to the same extent as Obama captured the world’s attention and given its people hope for a better future,” Thorbjoern Jagland, chairman of the Nobel Committee said.

Dearest Melanie Fiona *Updated*,

Dearest Melanie Fiona *Updated*,

Where the hell has my ass been?

No, Seriously!
I've been hearing/seeing your name floating around everywhere
and obviously been obvilious to the fact that you are bad!
I asked around and many suggested checking out "It Kills Me".
I did.

& I LOVE this joint.
The video is nice, the lyrics are right & your voice is beautiful.

When I 1st hear an artist on a track, I like to find something
acapella just so that I can hear their voice naturally.
During my search, I ran across this video of you singing the National Anthem.

& of course, you KILLED it!
Your debut album, The Bridge, drops November 2nd, 2009 which I will be checking for.
You are going to make a HUGE impression on R&B once everyone stops sleeping [like I was] & recognize your gift.

My name is Andrina & I'm a fan. =)

[PS: Thank you SO MUCH for taking a minute out of your day to stop by my blogspot. I think that is SUPER SWEET of you :) ]

"@TRIMMzGirL Your Blog is DOPE!!! Thanks for the letter...
I appreciate your support and creative expression...
MUCH LOVE! xo"

Dearest Brandy,

Dearest Brandy,

You Go Girl!

Ever since I was in 6th grade & I heard, "I Wanna Be Down" I was an immediate/loyal fan of your music & voice.
I remember my 6th grade year was coming to an end & so was my residency as a Florida resident.
My family & I were moving back to California, but as a parting gift, my best friend at the time, Tequilla, blessed me with the Brandy cassette.
[That album is an absolute CLASSIC!! I LOVE that album word for word.]

&& now, many years later...You are still killing it!

My favorite part was at 1:07 when you hit the spin.
I read many comments about this performance before writing this love note & everyone loves Brandy.
Since thats the case...let me toss in a throwback.
OMG! WAIT! What is this video that was only released overseas?
"Afrodisiac". This song was MY SH*T!!!

Speaking of songs that were my SH*T! "I wanna be down" remix. CLASSIC!!!

This is the one of the songs I would sing/rap to in the bathroom w/ no make up or flashy ish either. ;)
